In some circumstances, problems can arise during firmware updating. For example, a sudden loss of power, or accidentally unplugging the USB cable during the firmware flash. This can often cause firmware corruption and moreover an ESC malfunction.
In the case of any ESC firmware corruption, the Maclan Panel Software will detect the issue the next time you connect to the ESC. It will then enter ESC “RECOVERY MODE”. If you see this message, it means you still have a chance to bring the ESC back to life with the Maclan Panel Software.
Simply click on Firmware Update button.
Then follow the on screen instruction to flash desired version of firmware.
You will be good to go again in a few seconds.
