MRR V5 Stock Spec Competition Motor

Maclan Racing proudly presents the MRR V5 Stock Spec Competition Motor Series, our next-generation platform developed under the latest 2025 ROAR rules. Every detail of the V5 has been refined through extensive engineering and race testing to deliver stronger torque, smoother control, and improved efficiency for today’s demanding RC racers.

Key Features

1. Next-Gen ROAR-Legal Stator Design
   Newly engineered stator geometry built from fresh 2025 ROAR-spec laminations for improved magnetic balance and reduced core loss. The result is crisper throttle response, higher RPM, and superior temperature stability.

2. Enhanced Cooling and Airflow
   A redesigned CNC-machined endbell with high-flow cooling ports reduces operating temperature by up to 25 °F  compared with the previous generation.

3. Improved Electrical Efficiency
   Compared with the V4, the V5 17.5T achieves approximately 7 % lower internal resistance (33.19 mΩ vs. 35.81 mΩ), while the new 25.5T benefits from a completely redefined ROAR rule set, cutting resistance by roughly 25 % (76.03 mΩ vs. 101.0 mΩ).
   This means less power loss, stronger torque delivery, and more consistent performance throughout the run.

4. Lightweight Construction
   A refined can structure trims overall weight from about 150 g to 145 g, a 3 % reduction that enhances chassis balance and improves vehicle responsiveness, especially on high-traction surfaces.

5. Available Turns & ROAR Status
   Available in 10.5T, 13.5T, 17.5T, 21.5T, and 25.5T options.
